She doesn’t have the heart to tell him that her current pasttime is lambasting his elder self into doing something with his life and obliquely threatening to punch him in the face.
She she just settle to laugh slightly.
“You’d be surprised how much of the job is paperwork, kid.”
“Humble and selfless and important paperwork, then!” he says, giving a resolute nod. He’s unwilling to acknowledge her as anything other than Freaking Amazing.
